Synopsis
Many years have passed since humanity was driven to the brink of extinction by the sudden emergence of the unknown life forms Gadoll. Those humans that survived now dwell in a 3000m-high mobile fortress Deca-dence built to protect themselves from the Gadoll threat. Denizens of Deca-dence fall into two categories: Gears, warriors who fight the Gadoll daily, and Tankers, those without the skills to fight. One day, Natsume, a Tanker girl who dreams of becoming a Gear meets surly Kaburagi, an armor repairman of Deca-dence. This chance meeting between the seemingly two opposites, the girl with a positive attitude who never gives up on her dreams and the realist who has given up on his, will eventually shake the future course of this world. سالها از زمانی که بشریت بخاطر پدیداری ناگهان موجودات ناشناختهای به نام Gadoll تا مرز انقراض رفت گذشته. انسانهایی که جون سالم به در بردن حالا در یک قلعهی نظامی متحرک به نام Deca-Dence که ۳۰۰۰ متر ارتفاع داره زندگی میکنن تا از خطر Gadoll در امان باشن. ساکنین Deca-Dence به دو دسته تقسیم میشن: Gearها، مبارزانی که روزانه با Gadollها میجنگن، و Tankerها، کسانی که مهارت جنگیدن ندارن. روزی ناتسومه، یک دختر Tanker که رویای Gear شدن داره، با کابوراگیِ بدعنق آشنا میشه، یه تعمیرکار زره ساکن Deca-Dence. این ملاقات شانسی بین دو نفر که ظاهرا متضاد همدیگه هستن، دختری با روحیهی مثبت که هیچوقت بیخیال رویاهاش نمیشه و فردی واقعبین که بیخیال رویاهاش شده، نهایتا مسیر آیندهی این دنیا رو به لرزه در میاره.
