After an airplane crash during a school trip, Oribe Mutsumi and her classmates were stranded on a seemingly deserted island. Mutsumi found the other survivors, and used her wilderness knowledge to help them. She expects that they will be rescued in about three days, which doesn't seem so long to endure. However, she didn't account for the fact that the island is populated with gigantic killer insects. بعد از سقوط هواپیما هنگام اردوی مدرسه، اوریبه موتسومی و همکلاسی‌هاش در جزیره‌ای متروکه گیر میوفتن. موتسومی بازماندگان دیگر رو پیدا می‌کنه و از داناییش درباره بیابان و صحرا استفاده میکنه تا کمکشون کنه. اون انتظار داره که تا سه روز آینده نجات داده بشن و زنده موندن برای سه روز کار آسونیه، ولی اون انتظار نداشت که جزیره پر از حشرات کشنده باشه. دانش اون درباره پروانه‌ها، زنبور‌ها و چیزای دیگه ممکنه تنها چیزی باشه که بتونه به اون و دوستانش کمک کنه!
