Every girl is a mystery when you're a 16-year-old boy, but Mikoto Urabe is in another league. She carries scissors hidden in her panties. She sleeps on her desk every day. «اورابه میکوتو» دختری عجیب و جامعه گریز، به مدرسه یی که «تسوباکی» است، انتقالی می‌گیره. اورابه همیشه در زنگ‌های تفریح و غذا، روی میز می‌خوابه و با کسی هم حرف نمی‌زنه. یک روز بعد از تعطیل شدن مدرسه، تسوباکی متوجه میشه دفترش رو توو کلاس جا گذاشته، بر می‌گرده به کلاس، می‌بینه که اورابه هنوز خوابه. اون رو بیدار می‌کنه. اورابه پامیشه میره. تسوباکی می‌بینه که آب دهن اورابه، روی میز ریخته، خیلی کنجکاو میشه، انگشت می زنه تو آب دهن و اونو می‌خوره، یه چیز شیرین... و حالا تسوباکی گرفتار میشه...
