Synopsis
The seemingly unimpressive Saitama has a rather unique hobby: being a hero. In order to pursue his childhood dream, Saitama relentlessly trained for three years, losing all of his hair in the process. Now, Saitama is so powerful, he can defeat any enemy with just one punch. However, having no one capable of matching his strength has led Saitama to an unexpected problem—he is no longer able to enjoy the thrill of battling and has become quite bored. One day, Saitama catches the attention of 19-year-old cyborg Genos, who witnesses his power and wishes to become Saitama's disciple. Genos proposes that the two join the Hero Association in order to become certified heroes that will be recognized for their positive contributions to society. Saitama, who is shocked that no one knows who he is, quickly agrees. کارکتر اصلی داستان ساتایما که بنظر ساده و عادی میرسد یک سرگرمی خاص دارد، او یک قهرمان است. او برای اینکه بتواند به آرزوی دوران کودکیش برسد، سه سال بی وقفه به تمرین پرداخت و به همین خاطر تمام موهایش را هم از دست داد. او حال آنچنان قدرتمند شده که هیچکس نمیتواند در مبارزه شکستش دهد. درواقع تمام کاری که او لازم است برای شکست دشمنان شرورش انجام دهد یک مشت است و همین موضوع باعث شده تا دیگر مبارزه برایش هیجانی نداشته باشد و حوصلهاش سر رود.
یک روز Genos 19 ساله از راه میرسد و پس از دیدن تواناییهای ساتایما تصمیم میگیرد شاگردش شود. Geons از ساتایما درخواست میکند که هردویشان عضو انجمن قهرمانان شوند تا بصورت رسمی به عنوان یک قهرمان کار کنند و از این روش کارهایشان مورد توجه دیگران هم قرار بگیرد. ساتایما هم وقتی متوجه میشود که هیچکس او را نمیشناسد بلافاصله موافقت میکند. و بدین ترتیب داستان One Punch Man آغاز میشود، یک داستان اکشن و کمدی که درباره شخصی عجیب که دلش میخواهد با دشمنانی قوی مبارزه کند تا هیجانی که مدت هاست تجربه نکرده را دوباره تجربه کند، و شاید طی همین مسیر کمی معروف شود.
