Synopsis
Hachiman Hikigaya is an apathetic high school student with narcissistic and semi-nihilistic tendencies. He firmly believes that joyful youth is nothing but a farce, and everyone who says otherwise is just lying to themselves. In a novel punishment for writing an essay mocking modern social relationships, Hachiman's teacher forces him to join the Volunteer Service Club, a club that aims to extend a helping hand to any student who seeks their support in achieving their goals. With the only other club member being the beautiful ice queen Yukino Yukinoshita, Hachiman finds himself on the front line of other people's problems—a place he never dreamed he would be. هیکیگایا هاچیمن یک دانشآموز دبیرستانی بیتفاوت و مغروره و کمی پوچگراست. اون معتقده که دوران خوش جوانی چیزی جز یک نمایش بیهوده نیست و هرکسی که خلاف این حرف رو بزنه داره به خودش دروغ میگه.
هاچیمن با نوشتن مقالهای که درش روابط اجتماعی مدرن رو مسخره میکنه باعث عصبانیت معلمش میشه و اون هم بعنوان تنبیه مجبورش میکنه عضو کلاب خدمات داوطلبانه بشه، کلابی که هدفش کمک کردن به دانشآموزان دیگه برای رسیدن به هدفشونه. از اونجایی که تنها عضو دیگهی کلاب دختریست بسیار خوشگل به نام یوکینوشیتا یوکینو، ملقب به ملکهی یخی، هاچیمن در خطمقدم مشکلات دیگران قرار میگیره—جایی که حتی خوابش رو هم نمیدید. آیا دیدگاه فاسد و پوسیده هاچیمن نسبت به اجتماع در حیتی که fهمراه یوکینو از ذهنشون برای حل کردن مشکلات دانشآموزان استفاده میکنن، مانع کارشون میشه یا به ابزاری مناسب برای حل مشکلات بقیه تبدیل میشه؟
